More Happy. More Nights to see the show.

FROM THE FERALMADE SITE:

"I just want to remind you all that this is the last show until December, so you need to make sure to stop by. We are probably going to run the show a little longer than scheduled, and we will be open on Wednesday nights as well through the end of the exhibition.

Don’t forget to bring some cash when you stop by, you can’t afford not to buy one of these prints!"

See, they do like us. Feralmade was also voted one of the 50 Coolest People/Places in Cincinnati, so by 6 degrees of seperation that makes us....well, you guessed it.

happy? sad? a little of both.

a special thanks to everyone that showed up, both family, friends, and total strangers. it was great to see and meet everyone. you all were bad ass.

now a small complaint.

to those of you that i invited and didn't show, tisk, tisk. i now know who my true friends are. the only excuse i will accept is that on your way to the show you saw a car veer off the road. you're torn between the opening and saving a life. you act quickly and jump out of your car. you race to the overturned car and find a mother and her two kids. they're trapped. a small trickle of gas it making it's way to a small piece of burning wreckage. the seat belts are stuck so you bite through them and pull everyone to safety just seconds before the car erupts in a hollywood-esque fire ball. you're a hero. the city is naming a street after you and presents you with the key to the city. i'm proud to call you my friend.

or you were on a blind date.

but, seeing as how i didn't see anyone's photo on the cover of the paper or hear of the above mentioned spectacular rescue, i assume you had something equally as important happen that detained you. please, feel free to tell me what kept you from the show.

The following is a little story about a big robot with a little heart. Or a big killing heart. You decide. Give me a suggestion or two about what to call it.

While there is mention of death, violence, and other people, it focuses on the two main characters. So feel free to read it to your kids as a bedtime story.

a short story pt1

There once was a big robot, his name was Sunny Blue Robot. He was a nice robot but a clumsy robot. When I say he was nice, i mean that he thought he was nice. Or at least he saw crushing small children with his big flat feet as nice. [Who am I to judge? People in glass houses, you know.] Anyway, Sunny Blue Robot was out crushing small children when he got tired and decided to take a break. So he sat on a building. Where else would a big robot like Sunny Blue Robot sit? Seriously, you tell me where a freakin' robot like that could sit? You tell me and I'll draw it. Anyway, after he wasn't tired anymore, he got up to continue crushing small children.
